The charity
Hartcliffe and Withywood Community Partnership (HWCP) is a community-led organisation, representing and working on behalf of a community on the Southern edge of Bristol.
Their vision is for all people in the communities they serve to have an equal chance to lead successful, healthy and happy lives.
The opportunity
HWCP are seeking support from business professionals to support them to improve their communications and marketing strategy.
The organisation has several key components: The Symes resource Centre building, Community Transport service, HWCP charity.
They would like support to understand how best to market and brand these so that the full breadth of their offer is clear to those external.
Some key areas to focus on (but not limited to):
- Definition purpose of strategy, key audiences,
- Branding, identity, names; Communication channels (online & offline),
- Content strategy, resourcing & capability
Ideally, volunteers will offer recommendations, and support implementation of improvements – be it direct support or signposting to training, resources etc.
The aim is for HWCP to have an effective marketing and comms plan that they can reasonably manage once the volunteer support is complete.
This charity has been backed by Business in the Community (BITC) – the UK’s largest and longest-established responsible business network, championing sustainability, inclusion and growth that benefits both business and society. Find out more here.
