The charity
The Primary Science Teaching Trust believes it is vital that children are engaged and inspired by science from an early age. We want to draw on their natural curiosity to help them explore, understand and ask questions about the world around them. Scientific skills and knowledge are essential for every child, whether or not they become a scientist, engineer or medic.
The opportunity
The charity is looking for between three and five people to join us, and people with a background in:
- Digital content in education; Fundraising; Leadership and / or marketing.

Expected input
The Board meets four times a year, usually in London or Bristol, with the option to join remotely. These meetings are held during the working day. There are also opportunities for trustees to sit on standing-committees, working groups and project boards, all of which do not necessarily meet during the working day. Trustees are unpaid, but we cover expenses, including travel and childcare costs.
